Wow, I did the same thing once. I spent over $100 on someone's account, but all sony did to my was suspend my account for a month. I was very lucky and didn't think about changing or perhaps spoofing my MAC address. What I have learned from my PSP is that if you go to system settings, scroll down to Restore Default Settings, and select, it changes your MAC address. I haven't tried this on the PS3 but in this case it's your best shot. A LAST RESORT WOULD BE TO FORMAT YOUR HARD DRIVE, BUT I VERY VERY VERY DOUBT IT WOULD CHANGE ANYTHING. IT WOULD WIPE OUT EVERYTHING, EVEN YOUR GAMES.Does anyone know how i would be able to change the MAC address on my ps3.... any program anything pelase help?
Not really possible. The MAC address is burned on a chip on the motherboard. You'd have to replace that chip to change the MAC.
Some routers let you change the MAC that the router presents to the internet, but I don't think that will help in your situation.
