How does one change the mac address on an ATT U-verse Router?

I need to change the mac address on an ATT U-verse Router... Can anyone clearly describe the steps I need to take to do so?



Also, I would like (hopefully as a by product) that my XP, Vista and 7 machines have their IPs changed as well. It would be greatly appreciated.How does one change the mac address on an ATT U-verse Router?
Changing the MAC address of a device is not normally a user-defined operation. Knowing ATT it could cause problems. Why do you need to change this?



It would have no effect on IP addresses. And what would be the point? The machines on the inside have private IP addresses; no one on the outside can see or make use of them.How does one change the mac address on an ATT U-verse Router?
What your friend did wass change the internal IP address pool. This has no effect whatsoever on the external IP that the world sees of your connection. The website is blocking you based on that external IP. My ATT router uses DHCP for the external but each time I renew it I get the same IP back.

That external IP is under ATT's control and it is highly unlikely they are going to change it for you. Especially not for the purpose you describe.
