hi,
i am a newbie in networking, i have 2 AP which connect me to goverment free hotspot, all of them are TP-Link 54 mbps and 108 mbps.
one of my AP blocked by the admin, because before my pc has a dangerous virus. now that pc was clean from any virus, i need to connect that AP again to that pc, but internet never connected, is any way to change MAC address of AP ?, admin uses MAC filtering to to control all AP traffic, to change MAC address for an network adapter card, i know the way, but to change MAC of AP i dont know, is any body here know? i use TP LINK TL 601 WG 108 mbps
i was talk this with the admin, but admin doesn't have much time to change, he has to stand by in other larging area hotspot.
any comment and guide for this all of you.?
thanks for much help. How we can change MAC address of an Wireless Access Point ( AP )?
Hi,
AP mac is of the wireless router(TP LINK TL 601 WG 108 mbps) MAC who is issuing AP ..
So only one way to change it ...First of all change the MAC of your computer adapter then go to router setup and look for a option called MAC clone then it will clone your adapter faked MAC and by this way both your pc and router(ap) mac will be changed :)
