How to change MAC Address on Linksys Router?

Mac address is set at the manufacturer, but you can add, edit, and delete the mac addresses of the devices that are allowed on your local network. Go to your browser, type the device's IP (192.168.1.1), enter your user and password (admin) and add the mac addresses you want to allow access.

If what you want to do is change the MAC address of your linksys device (it is called mac address cloning), then after you login you have to select setup, MAC address clone, enable the feature and enter the new MAC address in the user defined entry fields. MAC Addresses are physical addresses given to devices straight from the manufacturer. I'm not sure, but I don't believe that it is possible to change a MAC Address, the IP address yes, but not MACHow to change MAC Address on Linksys Router?
You cant (rather it is difficult to) change the MAC address on a router.

Look into MAC cloning. Do a search and see if it is an answer for your problem.

Check this way

Get the Default gateway of the router (start - run-type ';cmd'; - click 'ok'- now type ';ipconfig';)

now open internet explorer and then type the defaultgateway in the address bar. It will open the GUI page. now you can change the router settings.
The MAC address is a unique identifier for the NIC (Network Card) or in this case the Router.

It's put onto the device by the maker.

I've never heard of anyone being able to change it.
