Change WAN IP with wireless network from computer?

I have a wireless card, and for some reason its detecting someone elses router, and not mine.. idk how thats possible since my router isn't really far away



so anyway, i can connect to the other persons linksys router, and i can change the MAC address, but when i press save, the internet wont work, unless i change it to disabled, or keep the mac address the same



Is there anyway i could change it and have it working?Change WAN IP with wireless network from computer?
Whenever the modem detects a different mac address is connected to it, the internet will stop working until the modem is powercycled. That's why it starts working again when you change back to the original mac address. There's no way to change the mac and have the internet work without powercycling the modem.
