Virgin media What type of IP??

Hi Everyone I've got a problem, I've got Virgin media Broadband in uk,



I was going to try change my IP by changing MAC address in my router. but as much as I know i need to have an dynamic IP address. I have no idea what type i've got... How to check it?.

I thought that the MAC address was hardwired into the router and couldn't be changed?



You will most likely have a static IP address assigned by VM but as far as your router is concerned, just set it to dynamic and let it pick it up from your modem.
