Mac address changer windows vista with wireless connection to a router not in jeopardy?

How can you change you mac address for windows vista without harming your internet connection which mine is wireless which is connected to a router. When i tried to change it on another computer to try it it worked but the internet went down. does it mean i have to change router settings and allow the new mac address.

thankyou for any help Mac address changer windows vista with wireless connection to a router not in jeopardy?
Your failure meant the other hosts did not update their ARP table, reboot your PC after you change the MAC address. This should cause the other hosts on your network to ARP for your new MAC address.Mac address changer windows vista with wireless connection to a router not in jeopardy?
Your MAC address is burned in to the Ethernet device, it cannot be changed(unless you use another device) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC_address
