Change email from orange to sky?

I am currently getting 2Mb from Orange and as we have sky T.V., was thinking of changing to 8Mb on sky.

I know when i change i will loose my orange email account but i do not know how to get all my emails to be sent to my sky email account.

I do not want to use outlook as i do not like the setup and may be switching to an apple MAC soon.

i have tried using the sky email recovery tool they have but i believe it does not cover orange and any POP servers i enter comes up saying they are wrong.

i have heard that i need a MAC address to change the email but i have not got one yet. And if i do need one what do i do with it?

Any help please would help. the last alternative would be going to around 200 different websites and people and changing the email manually - something none wants to do...Change email from orange to sky?
You would be much better off with an email account which is separate from your ISP. Then you can change your ISP with no effect on your email.

You should ask Orange how to arrange your emails to be forwarded to your new address. They will do this for a while after you end the contract. You need to extract your Contact list from Orange too. And you may want to have copies of all your saved emails.

You will have to manually change all your email references in forums etc. and all your contacts. With your contacts just send them all (send to ALL contacts should be possible) a message saying this is your new address.

The MAC code is only for changing ISP. It has nothing to do with email.Change email from orange to sky?
tut see why main email accounts shouldn't be provider dependent.

if the account is closed then you can't redirect them. Because the address no longer exists. I'd open an online sever account and spam every one in you're current orange list you're new addy, you can do this once by forwarding it to every one in a given field. not 200 times. as far as email sites, you're stuck there and will probably have to do it one at a time :(

n.b you sure it's an orange sever linked mail account? could be a Yahoo liked sever account like BT have.
