How do i download more MBs on a wireless connection on windows vista?

my uni provides a wireless connection but with a very limited amount of MBs to download :'( what can i do to increase them? should i change my ip address or mac address or what?and how? Thanx anyways:)How do i download more MBs on a wireless connection on windows vista?
You don't. The IP is assigned to you from their servers. Sure the MAC is used, but guess what, they can tell if it is the same machine or not, even if it has a different MAC.

Either get a wireless broadband card or use public hot-spots.How do i download more MBs on a wireless connection on windows vista?
You won't be able to increase them.

Your download cap is set by your provider... and that limitation is enforced at their central station by monitoring all the traffic coming from your specific hardware. None of the hardware that is enforcing the limitation is accessible or modifiable by you.

Your IP address is dynamic... changing it won't make one bit of difference as it is designed to be flexible.

Your MAC address is unique and is hard coded onto your network card and cannot be changed. There are software packages out there that allow you to mask your MAC address... but these are not easy to set up and won't solve your problem.

Your provider is actually monitoring bandwidth on THEIR equipment with their own MAC addresses. Nothing you do on your end will be able to change the information they are monitoring on their end.

So, unfortunately, the only way around this limitation is to change providers... or find out if your current provider has an upgrade plan where you pay a bit more but receive a higher download capacity in return.

Good luck!
maybe, just maybe you shouldent be such a bottom-feeding troll and i would help, although there is nothing you can do. its called a bandwidth
