Changing my ip on comcast.?

I have comcast internet and whenever I try to reset my router, force change it via mac address change, or leave it off over night it is still the same!

and i dont know the information for comcast and what our subscription details are..

how can I change it?Changing my ip on comcast.?
Actually, you are all incorrect. By changing the mac address on the device connected to the modem, the modem will be forced to issue a new ip address. This is because all networking devices are supposed to have different mac addresses. So the same router can be issued a 2nd ip address if you change its mac address, because the modem will think it is a different device, and as we all know, no two devices can have the same ip address. Therefore, change the mac address, and get a new ip address. I do this monthly with my Comcast connection on my Linksys router. To get a new ip address, first turn off your modem. Login to your router and change its mac address. Now power cycle the router. Now turn on the modem. Done.Changing my ip on comcast.?
Your Comcast modem is registered with Comcast and they assign you an IP that associates with that particular modem. You'd have to contact them and ask for a different IP address.
Call comcast and ask them to change it.

Mac address are hardwired to the network interface, so they can't be changed.

Resting the router will never work.

Your public ip address is controlled by Comcast, NOT YOU. They have control on what ip address you and when to change it.
All wrong answers...

If you are a residential customer you are automatically assigned an IP address via DHCP and comcast will not change you IP address unless you are being attacked via DDoS or something they can see.

The only way to get your IP address to change would to have comcast performing maintenance in the area and the actual lease time on your IP address be shortend and even at that point you are not guaranteed a different IP address when it expires since by default it trys to gain the same IP address.

You will have no luck calling comcast trust me, you will just waste time.

Take care.
