Will MAC address spoofing get me free internet at the airport and hotels?

So I figured out how to spoof my MAC adress, if I change it to the same as a computer that has paid for the wireless internet acess at an airport or hotel, will the network think that i paid for it?Will MAC address spoofing get me free internet at the airport and hotels?
Your mac address doesn't have anything to do with internet access. It's just the level 1 destination for the data packets from whatever you're connected to. The main thing people use it for is to hide the identity of the computer they're on or get around mac filtering. Will MAC address spoofing get me free internet at the airport and hotels?
Probably not. Most hotspots that sell access to their signal are also having you run a little piece of software that writes a cookie to the hard drive. So you need the cookie and the correct MAC address to use the purchased bandwidth.
Your Internet MAC address is limited to the physical area where your router is located so the far your are from home, the less chances to connect to your services.

Some providers, however, offer your free mobile connection accessing their network with your subscriber name/password and this facility is available at most hotels, airports, hospitals, dinning facilities and hot spots.

Call your ISP provider and ask if your service has this modality available.
